Marsh Cleanups

Thank you to all our volunteers
We'd like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all those who came to the  Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center on April 23 to help clean up the marsh and prepare the nature center for coming season. Our annual Spring clean-up marking Earth Day is a huge undertaking, and you were the key to our success.

More than 100 people of all ages came to clean up the marsh. A big thanks as well to the Town of Scarborough Public Works crew for all their help. We also collected a carload of staple foods for Project G.R.A.C.E. and the food pantry - thank you for your generosity.

The volunteers had a chance to feel good twice -- helping to clean trash from our beautiful marsh and also by donating food to help those in need.

Thanks also to Mister Bagel, Panera Bread, Standard Baking, Two Fat Cats and Scarborough's Starbucks for donating breakfast goodies for the volunteers attending.
