Gervais Property Bird & Nature Walk (free) September 28th (1:00 - 3:30 p.m.) Join Scarborough Marsh Director, Linda Woodard for this 1.5 hour nature exploration. Stroll through various habitats noting the seasonal changes of the plants and animals on this unique piece of property comprised of upland field, salt marsh, and shrub habitat. The trip will end at the observation tower where we will get a magnificent view of the salt marsh. We expect to see migrating hawks along with some lingering shorebirds. The program will take place on the Maine Inland Fisheries & WIldlife, Gervais Property which was acquired through the hard work of Friends of Scarborough Marsh. Please call 781-2330 x213 or email smac@maineaudubon.org to learn more.
